Hi all,
I know I don't come on and post on here much, and I really actually should more often. I'm a college student, mom, and DJ of a love songs show known as the Affection Asylum on Audio Access FM, one of many cool shows the station has to offer. Then there is also the great automation system when there's not a DJ on. We play primarily adult pop, but our DJ's play a little of everything, whatever they and their listeners like, and we're working on becoming more listener driven and interactive. We also play things like audio dramas and other such forms of audio entertainment when there's not someone on air, usually in the evenings. Our slogan is "Stretching the boundaries of sound entertainment and filling your life with sweet ear candy." The idea is that music is not the only awesome form of audio entertainment, and that's part of what sets us apart from other stations. Feel free to check us out and spread the word if you like us.
You can follow us on Twitter at one or more of the following usernames.
@audioaccessic: my Twitter for station related matters
@zhuuraan: my personal twitter, in which I post a little of everything, including station stuff.
@audioaccessfm: The general station twitter account
or @djdrocks: The personal twitter account of our station manager, David Dunphy
You can also write me via email, David via email, or visit our contact us page and write any member of our staff. I will include mine and David's here, broken up so that spam bots don't harvest them
My station email, note it is gmail simply because it's what I'm more familiar with:
audioaccessic at gmail dot com
David's station address:
daviddunphy at audioaccess dot fm
My show, the Affection Asylum, is a pre-recorded themed love songs show which airs every Saturday night from 8 to 10pm Eastern. You can check out our program guide for a full listing of our shows and specials in a variety of time zones, more being added, and if yours isn't there, feel free to write David at the above address to request it be included.
Well I think I'm getting a little long winded, but feel free to give the station a listen and write me or post here if you want to tell me what you think. I'd love to hear some feedback. A formal Archive system is in the works, but you can request copies of my show archives by writing me directly if you'd like them. This Saturday's episode Is my 3rd show, although I've been affiliated with Audio Access as its interview coordinator longer than that. I'll wrap up for now, but look forward to hearing from all of you.
Sorry guys. I got so long winded in my last post that while I included Twitter and email contact info, I neglected to include the site URL. I apologize for that. It is
